We are getting married!

Jess's story: I headed to the Bulldog Tap after work to celebrate my friend Jenna. I was approached by a man in a bright orange party shirt. Jenna said, "this is Barnacle, he knows how to drink". Adam belied up to our high top table and kept the liquid courage flowing. At the end of the night he asked for my number, and I said no. But I did allow a Facebook request so I could do some creeping. Fast forward a couple months, I was the one with liquid courage that reached out to him and the rest is history. Adam's story: At the bulldog tap celebrating Jenna's birthday and I looked across the room and there was a cute girl in blue scrubs. I thought, "Oh a nurse. I will go talk to her. She knows Jenna, thats my in". I walked over, don't remember exactly what I said. I remember the bar close lights coming on and thought that I was running out of time with her. I got rejected with the phone number but bounced back with the Facebook request.

Jess's story: It had been Adam's mom's birthday earlier in the week and we hadn't got anything for her birthday. I told Adam that we should ship her gift to California while she was in North Dakota so she arrives home to a surprise. Adam suggested that we go shopping after I get off work, and at midnight we have one option: Walmart. I picked Adam up after work. It was raining and he had brought down my rain coat for me. When we got to Walmart he was telling me that I was going to want my coat. I thought that I didn't want any more of my things in store that needs to be; We were going from point A to B and we can heal-toe to the door. Adam said that he had been thinking all day on what to get his mom and I asked if he had thought of anything. He said that there is only one thing that he can get her that nobody else can, he pulled my arm back since I was on a mission to get in the door, I look back and he is holding a black box and he says, "a daughter in law". He then gets on one knee and asks "Will you marry me?" . After I asked "IS THIS REAL?!" about 4 times I said, "of course I will marry you". A lady then proceeded to get out of her car and yell "Did she say yes?!" when we both yelled back yes through tears and promptly got back in the car. Adam's story: I had been waiting on the ring for awhile and once I got it, I wanted to ask her. I wanted to make sure that she was had a good night at work and that she would be in a good mood. I didn't want her to see it coming. I was practicing in the apartment before hand and got so nervous that I sweat through a shirt and had to change. I didn't want to propose in the apartment and thought this would be a way to surprise her.
