We’re Getting Married!

We met in 2011, at a mutual friend's birthday party. Danced the night away together, exchanged numbers, and the rest is history. Just two kids who fell in love and never looked back. We started seeing each other once a week, to every weekend, to almost every day. We moved in together in 2016 and have been building a life together ever since.

While celebrating Christmas together at Maria's parent's house it was picture time. Maria and Nick stood in front of the tree posing for the camera. Brittany (Maria's sister) was taking picture after picture and said "do a different pose". Soon Nick gets down on one knee and pops the question right in front of the tree with Maria's family to witness it. Early on in the relationship, Maria had given hints to Nick such as the type of ring she wanted and how she'd like her family involved. Nick remembered every detail and made it happen. Even after eight years, Maria did not see it coming! A perfect surprise proposal.
