Flight
Sea-Tac Airport is the biggest airport in the Seattle/Tacoma area. It is about an hour drive to Bremerton and an additional 40+ minutes to Poulsbo & The Clear Water Casino due to the drive around the peninsula. If you are looking to rent a car from the airport please be advised that the traffic at certain time is extremely brutal. Our suggestion is to either take an Uber to the ferry or take the light rail system which is located upstairs outside the terminal. Its a fun 40 minute ride to downtown Seattle where you can get off and catch the ferry.
Train
If you decide to take the light rail, Grab a train ticket at the Light Rail Vending Machine and purchase a ticket for University St. This stop will take you to the middle of downtown Seattle where the ferries are located.
Travel Note
Sailing the Pugent sound will be the best part of your journey!!!! Located right on Alaska Way on Seattle's historic waterfront is the Ferry Terminal that does departures for both Bremerton and Bainbridge Island. Bremerton is where we reside which is a 55 minute ride has a lot of options from hotels, restaurants, bars, Navy Shipyard & Museum, Breweries, car rental places and some amazing mountain views. Bainbridge Island is a 30 minute ferry ride to lush forestry, a 15 minute drive to Poulsbo, 3 Star hotels and Airbnb options. If you are staying at the Casino there is a free shuttle bus that is parked alongside of the station and will take you right to the front doors of the resort.. Ferry pass is $8.20 per person, it has a cafeteria and top deck seating for you to take in all that Washington Sate has to offer. We will provide a schedule for sailing times and it is also available in the link above.

If you decide to stay in Poulsbo for the weekend either at the casino, Airbnb or hotels, this is a great location to rent a car to explore!

There are so many hidden quaint, gems when it comes to Airbnb, especially across the water. There are many options that are in the Poulsbo area close to the reception and directly to the historic downtown part where there is coffee shops, restaurants, bars & historic bakeries. For Bainbridge Island It's a little bit more secluded but with spectacular water front rentals. Please note if you decide to stay on the island please be sure to be close to the Agate Pass Bridge for easy commuting.
