Absolutely! If you would like to bring another adult guest or babysitter who can monitor your children or take them back to your lodgings at a certain point in the day, please contact the Bride to see if we can make that happen! We want you and your kids to have fun, but be safe! DISCLAIMER!!!! THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL PARTY-GOERS WHO ARE BRINGING CHILDREN - if you do not want your kids to hear songs with explicit lyrics or that may be a little risqué, the Bride and Groom recommend having the kids return to your lodgings for the night around 9:30 - 10:00 pm. After that point, the Bride and Groom are giving the DJ the go-ahead to honor any song requests they receive, and the wedding may no longer be rated "E for Everyone!"

This is a holiday wedding - 4th of July! So it is possible that there will be other events going on before, during, and after the wedding. Please be aware that there may be an increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the town and the venue. We are also hoping there will be fireworks that can be seen from the venue! We will update this FAQ if we find out that there will be fireworks visible in our area!
Our venue - The BRIX on the Fox - can be found on Google and Apple Maps by typing in the name. However, if you type in "The Two-Sixty" (exactly like that, spelled out), you will be taken to our specific event space. The BRIX has two event spaces, and we are getting married in their Two-Sixty space. The Two-Sixty are the double doors on the opposite side of the building from the garbage bins when you pull in the back parking lot. There will also be signs outside of the event doors with Kyle and Alexis's names to direct you where to go! If you cannot find "The Two-Sixty" in your GPS, please use this address: 260 Washington St, Carpentersville, IL 60110
There are plenty hotels located within a 10 minute drive of The BRIX. The hotel that the room block is set up through is the Sonesta Select (please see Travel page). This hotel and the room block comes with shuttle transportation to and from the venue if you would like to utilize it. Other hotel and lodging options are available on the Travel page of this website!
