How Do I Get to the Borgo?

Answer

Borgo Laticastelli is located about 30 minutes outside of the city center of Siena. If you plan on renting a car, it's a quick drive. The venue has plenty of space for parking. If you don't have a car, you'll need to use a taxi service to make it to the venue. You'll find that taxis are harder to find and more expensive outside of major Italian cities, like Florence and Rome.

How Do I Prepare for This Trip?

Answer

A valid passport is the most essential item to bring. If you need a new passport or need to renew an expired one, the current timeline is 8–12 weeks. Your passport MUST be valid for at least six months beyond the trip date (March 2027). If you plan on renting a car, please remember to obtain an IDP. More details on this are available on our transportation page. Check that you have the correct power adaptors/converters for your electronics! It's also smart to bring a few hundred euros in cash at least.

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

One of the best months of the year in Italy! It is warm, sunny, and slightly breezy. You can typically expect a daytime temperature of 75-85F and an evening temperature of 60-68F.

What Costs Am I Expected to Cover?

Answer

We are sensitive to the fact that destination weddings can be expensive and will do as much as we can to mitigate costs involved with attending. Each guest should expect to cover the cost of their flights, accommodation, and any transportation booked on their own.

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

While we love kids, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration with the exception of our immediate family. Thank you for understanding!!

Are there hotel blocks or accommodations?

Answer

Hotel room blocks at the borgo will be open starting in March. There are plenty of near-by offsite options as well to choose from!

When Should I Book a Room at the Venue By?

Answer

Please secure your rooms by June 1, 2026 by sending your deposit to Jenna (details on our Travel & Accommodation page). More information coming in March on rooms and pricing. We are able to accommodate up to 70 guests on site and recommend booking as soon as you can!

When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 1, 2026, by visiting the RSVP tab and following the prompts. If you are a guest with dietary restrictions or allergies, please also note them when prompted.
