When should I RSVP by?

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We're registered for some gifts and have a honeymoon fund. Please see our registry tab here on our website.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you not taking our provided transportation, please arrive at the ceremony at 3:50pm. We will begin promptly at 4:00pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! See dress codes below: For the wedding, the dress code is black-tie optional. This means formal, floor-length or midi (ankle/shin length) dresses or jumpsuits for women, and dark suits (navy or black) or tuxedos for men. Please do not wear dresses or suits in any shade of cream, white, beige, or silver. Those colors are reserved for the bride only! Also please do not wear jeans, khakis or athletic clothes. For the welcome party, the dress code is denim! Think denim dresses, overalls, vests, or your favorite pair of blue jeans paired with a blue shirt. Canadian Tuxedos are encouraged :) Black denim is also totally fine!

Can I bring a date?

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! Due to venue space and our intimate guest list, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, except for our flower girls. We hope this can be a fun night out for you!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have two great hotel blocks in San Diego where guests can get a discounted rate. See our travel page for more information.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be offering transportation to/from the venue from the hotel blocks in Mission Bay. You do not need to stay at the hotels to take the transportation to the venue, but we highly recommend you do! The shuttle to the ceremony will depart around 2:30pm. The shuttle back to the hotels will depart the venue at the conclusion of the reception around 10pm. Don't worry, text reminders will go out closer to the day-of too.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a small amount of parking at the venue, and you may leave your car overnight if needed. However, we highly recommend utilizing the transportation we're providing to/from the hotel!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Dinner will be served family style at each table but there will be a place when you RSVP to note any food allergies or dietary restrictions you have.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We're so thankful so many of you have traveled and want to celebrate with you as much as we can. There is a welcome party on Thursday evening and a beach party on Saturday. Both events are completely optional, but we'd love to see you there :) More details on these events are available in the "Schedule" section of our website.

Yes, Lila will be a part of the wedding ceremony :)

What if I have other questions not listed here?

Answer

If you have another question, please reach out to the bride or groom. We're happy to help with whatever you need up until June 24th. On that date and after, please refer to our website to help answer common questions! In an emergency, please reach out to the Matron of Honor (Megan Barker) or Best Man (Travis Webster).

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in the San Diego area in late June is usually highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid 60s. The welcome party, ceremony and reception are outside, so please dress accordingly!

How can I get updates on the wedding, shuttles, beach day, etc.?

Answer

We will be sending out text updates through Zola (the same system you entered your contact information), so make sure the phone number in your contact section is the one you'd like to receive texts leading up to the events!
