Hawks Nest Lodge

Hawks Nest is one of our favorite places in WV. It is also approximately a 20-30 minute drive to the venue. Currently Hawks Nest Lodge has limited availability, if you try to book directly on the state park website it is only allowing for a 2 nights stay. It may be worth looking at priceline/booking.com to see if they have a single night option.

Flight

Flying into WV (CRW or HTS)

If you are flying, the closest airport to fly into is Charleston Yeager Airport (CRW). It is approximately 1.5 hours from the venue, and the airport has reasonably priced rental cars. Another option would be to fly into Huntington (which also has Spirit airlines!), and is approximately 2.5 hours from the venue.

Flying into North Carolina (CLT or GSO)

If you are okay with a longer drive, flying into Charlotte (CLT) or Greensboro (GSO) may be you best bet. Charlotte is approximately 4 hours from the venue, and Greensboro is approximately 3.5 hours.

Flying into Virginia (ROA)

Flying into Roanoke, VA is another option, and would be 2.5 hours from the venue by car. Not sure if this would be an expensive option or not, but it is definitely closer!

Flying into Pennsylvania (PIT)

The last major airport that comes to mind is Pittsburgh, PA (PIT). This would put you approximately 3.5 hours away from the venue.
