Wedding Requirements: Update

7/20/20

Hi Friends& Family - We are excited to see all of you in a little over a month! As an update, we continue to monitor COVID-19 and the WV state specific guideines. Currently we are strongly recommending that guests wear masks. We will have some masks available for everyone and hand sanitizer will be available throughout the venue (reception and ceremony). We be trying to seat family members/close friends together for the reception and will be working with the venue on options for seating during the ceremony. Stay tuned and stay safe! ❤️

Coronavirus Update

COVID-19: Crazy Times We Live In

I know many of you are concerned about the Coronavirus. We are and will continue to monitor this very closely. At this time, and due to the unpredictable nature of this pandemic, we have decided to postpone the wedding to August 29th, 2020. Knowing this is a concern for everyone, we will try to update this page with information if anything changes in our new plans. We hope that we can see you all on our new date, but understand if that is not possible due to other planned events. We love you all, and please wash your hands ◡̈

Our Story

We met at WVU in 2010 during our MSIR program, and didn't think anything of it. In the summer of 2013, both of us were going to an HR Conference in Chicago, and decided to catch up and have dinner together. We spent 6 months talking every day, until Britt made the decision to move to Los Angeles, at which point we let things organically fizzle. The majority of 2014 we spent figuring out our lives on separate parts of the country - Jeff in North Carolina, and Britt in California - but throughout the year we would send one another emoji texts to let the other know we were thinking of them. Our paths then merged again Christmas 2014, this was when we decided to give "us" a shot. We both enjoyed one another's company even if we were living in two different time zones. The following 9 months of a long-distance relationship were tough, not knowing when we would see one another again. By September, Britt moved to North Carolina, and we were finally able to able to make things official. The rest is history from there! We've had lots of moves, new jobs, and adventures (mainly fishing), and are looking forward to this new chapter in life together!

For all the days along the way
