Stephanie is my twin sister who will like to tell you that she's the older twin since she was born a whole one-minute before me. Growing up as a twin was certainly interesting. We had our own language and would constantly let the other one out of timeout. One time when we were old enough to know better, we thought it would be fun to run around outside in the dark, which inevitably led to us crashing into each other and causing me to chip a tooth and a bloody nose for her. Hopefully we know better now! Stephanie currently lives in Ohio with her husband, Shouvik.
Kelsey Pemberton

Kelsey and I have known each other literally our whole lives. We used to live across the street from one another which made for an adventurous childhood riding bikes around the court, playing with stuffed animals, and making umbrella forts in the rain. After all these years we're still best friends, though we haven't tried to make an umbrella fort in awhile. Kelsey currently lives in Michigan with her husband John, her cats Buggy and Sansa, and dog Goose.
Molly Burford

Molly and I first met in the 4th grade when we moved to Northville, Michigan. Molly told me she was a twin too but I didn't believe her at first! We got in trouble one time for rebelliously checking out an Eminem CD at the Novi Library when we were barely old enough to understand his music (we returned the CD). We're still best friends and support each other even though at times we've lived far away from one another. Molly currently lives in Michigan with her dog Bruce.
Hailey Barclay

Hailey and I have been friends since middle school where she befriended my sister and I. One summer in high school, before any of us had cars or jobs, we spent (almost) every day hanging out and trying to figure out what to do with our time and usually ended up just sitting on the couch and laughing. Whenever we catch up, it's like no time has passed and we pick up right where we left off. Hailey currently lives in Michigan with her husband, Eldon, her children Carter and Robby, and dogs Callie and Sammy.
Emily Horbatch

Emily and I knew each other in high school but really connected and became friends at Michigan State University when we lived together. We also spent time as co-workers working in retail. We've bonded over our love of video games, cats and spent a year volunteering at a cat rescue before going off to graduate school. Shockingly, we somehow (barely) refrained from adopting all the cats! Emily currently lives in Michigan with her cat Cole.
Brandon Roundtree

Brandon is my oldest brother, and one time, despite being a Manchester United supporter, he drove us roundtrip to New York to see a Chelsea preseason game, ending with a flat tire on I-95 South at 2am. We've definitely grown closer with age, sharing a love of cooking good food, cheering on the New York Rangers, and playing a little too much Destiny 2. Brandon lives in Richmond, VA with his wife, Meghan; their children, Jackson, Annelise, and Callum; and their Bernadoodle, Giggsy.
Jason Roundtree

Jason is the middle brother, and one time I kicked out his two front teeth after we watched Mulan in a hotel room while we were visiting Disneyworld (he'll say they weren't loose, but they were). I have Jason to thank for my love of good coffee, my ever-growing vinyl collection, and a bevy of goofy inside jokes. Jason can be found in Richmond, VA with his girlfriend, Brogan, and his two Great Danes, Scooby and Shelby.
Evan X. Tucker

Evan and I met on the first day of law school (same day as I met Danielle!), and despite his UVA affiliation (go Rams), we quickly became close friends, and it’s thanks to Evan that Danielle and I started dating. Whether as classmates, roommates, or through daily Instagram messages, we always share a laugh, mixed in with snarky critiques of court decisions and current events. Can't wait to see him on the bench as a federal judge one day. Evan lives in Richmond, VA.
Elizabeth Harding

Liz and I first became friends after one of my first VCU Pep Band events as a freshman, thanks to a random game we played at a Sweet Frog after the event. From there, we grew close as friends through weekly Pep Band performances at basketball games (plus one performance at a DC United game against the NY Red Bull at RFK where I got to walk pitch side), getting a whole VCU restaurant (Raisin' Canes) to cheer for the Pep Band table who sang in relatively good harmony for instrument players, and sharing daily snaps of our adorable pups. Liz lives in Newport News, VA with her husband Chris and her dog, Zoey.

Hannah is my oldest friend (and another fellow clarinetist), who I've known since my days of being an emo high schooler, all the way through to my days of being a still-emo adult. Although we haven't seen each other in awhile (and don't see each other nearly enough), I know I can always count on her for support and advice, for a perfect out-of-context West Wing quote, and for commiserating about D&D podcasts that we got a little too emotionally invested in. Not to mention, she has a secret plan to fight inflation. Hannah lives in Milwaukee, WI.
