A long time ago in a galaxy much like this one, Stephanie and Daniel sparked an instant bond. T'wasn't the cliché "love at first sight," but rather friendship at first hangout. They were both in relationships at the time, you see, so romance didn't even factor into the equation. Instead, they connected over their mutual enjoyment of sappy movies, musical theatre, and geeky inside jokes. Stephanie even got Daniel a gag gift of a "Best Friends" necklace for Christmas one year! Little did they know... Further down the road, with both out of their respective relationships, Stephanie and Daniel discovered each other in a new light. From their humble platonic roots, over time, a great love blossomed. The solid foundation of companionship, camaraderie, honesty, openness, and gratitude remains the cornerstone of their life together. After their first date, they were head over heels. When you know, you know. Ya know? Both were somewhat guarded at first, with many reasons to hold back, but they chose love over fear. Intimacy over insecurity. Trust over trepidation. They chose each other. They took the leap of faith, and are so glad they did. Despite their emotional baggage, they felt like this was a fresh start to create the life they'd always wanted. They felt giddy and anxious and full of butterflies. It was a second chance at first love. This was THE love - the one they'd waited their entire lives for. In the months since, they've enjoyed trips to Costa Rica, the French Riviera, Paris, Hungary, Canada and New England. Together they've binged ALL of Game of Thrones, played many a board game, enjoyed many a glass of wine, spent quality time with friends & family, and are so excited to build a lasting loving life together.
