We hope you will RSVP by May 7, one month prior. Please let us know at the latest by May 24, because that will be the week we finalize our menu and seating. You can RSVP on this website or by texting Barbara. Thank you.
The event begins at 2pm, amd the ceremony is at 3pm. Come as soon as you can to be included in the staged photos, settle into your table, have a beverage, etc. If you cannot make it until after 3, please wait until the ceremony is finished before entering. If all goes as planned, the ceremony will end by 3:30.
Yes, but we hope to make it easy and fun for you. The dresscode is ON THEME or FORMAL. THEME: Fairy tale-fantasy. You can absolutely dress on theme. If you have a medieval/ren-faire/celtic/druid style outfit you would love to wear, please do. You could also add little medieval or fantasy touches to your formal wear, if you wish. Otherwise... FORMAL: (Summer) Sunday Best clothes, the dress clothes that will be comfortable for you, and if you want to dress full black-tie, we love that too. (Please, no jeans, no white dresses, and no fur (please remember we are animal loving vegans) - thank you)
Yes, we love animals and we do not want to hurt them! No animal products are wanted or allowed.
Yes, we have a few guests that require gluten free food due to allergies, so there will be a marked portion for them.
Yes we have a registry right here on this website. There are many small items we would love, a few dream items that we would only expect as a group gift, and an option to donate cash to our newlywed fund. That fund would go toward some items we are saving for, or possibly an overnight honeymoon trip to a bed and breakfast. Thank you so much.
No, but there will be food and drink. We hope that the tapas style food will be satisfying, but it will be a casual, self serve, alcohol free, afternoon event that will end before dinnertime. Drinks will be available all day. Food will be served after the ceremony and be available for you until the end of the reception.
Street parking only - Medusa Art Studios is located at 18-14 Astoria Blvd, Astoria, NY 11102.
This is a small venue and small private ceremony with a capacity limit. All invited are honored guests that we know well. Invitees will have their names on the invitation. so, the answer is no, but just saying that seemed very blunt.πΆβπ«οΈ We hope you understand.
If you need anything that isn't covered here, please text Barbara. Thank you.
