Pampulha

Pampulha

Pampulha, MG, Brazil

Lake Pampulha is where our wedding will take place! The lake is surrounded by many bars and restaurants, and it is a great area to relax. You can also visit the Pampulha Church which is UNESCO World Heritage Site, go to the amusement park Guanabara or the zoo, and see the Mineirão e Mineirinho (two of the biggest volleyball and soccer stadiums in the country). During the day you can interact with the capybaras by the lake :)

Savassi

Savassi

Savassi, MG, Brazil

This is the area where we will be staying at. Savassi is known for having a large number of bars, pubs, clubs, cafés, bistros, diners, restaurants, nightlife, museums, parks, and shopping commerce. The region is regarded as one of the most prestigious and sought-after areas in Belo Horizonte. Best place to go at nighttime and enjoy a street party until closing time, which is normally 4am.

Mercado Central de Belo Horizonte

Mercado Central de Belo Horizonte

744 Avenida Augusto de Lima, Centro, MG 30190-922, Brazil

Mercado Central de Belo Horizonte is a vibrant and bustling market filled with unique local treats, gourmet foods, artisanal products, and an array of shops. It has been the central food market of the city since the 1920s, offering fresh fruits, vegetables, butchers shops, household appliances, regional sugar cane spirits, cheeses, and unique local flavors. You will be able to buy anything from souvenirs to a live chicken at this location

Ouro Preto

Ouro Preto

Ouro Preto, MG 35400-000, Brazil

This is a full day trip. We plan on going to this location on Sunday or Monday after the wedding. Ouro Preto is a historical city that features well-preserved Portuguese colonial architecture in its city centre, which is relatively unmarked by modern urban development. It is known for its Baroque architecture, its rustic food, and for its central role in Brazil’s late 17th century Gold Rush. Come join us to enjoy some incredible food, beautiful old buildings, and churches full of gold!

Inhotim Museum

Inhotim Museum

20 Rua B, Conceicao do Itaguá, MG 32497-142, Brazil

This is a full day trip. We plan on going to this location on Sunday or Monday after the wedding. The Inhotim Institute is a Brazilian contemporary art museum. It is one of the largest outdoor art centers in Latin America. The open-air museum was one of TripAdvisor's top 25 best-ranked museums in the world. The institute has a total area of 1,942.25 acres, mostly located in the biome of the Atlantic Forest. The art spans from manmade figures to weirdly shaped trees!
