Sam and Barbara met on the first day of college when their parents dropped them off at the same time and have been friends ever since! They were roommates at Notre Dame and both lived in Boston during the exact same years - which they really miss! Sam is Barbara's go-to person for all things style, design, DIY and dance moves. You will not find anyone more thoughtful, funny, kind and creative than Sam! Plus she does an amazing rendition of Part of Your World :)

Ryan is Case's cousin and they have been friends since elementary school! Even though they live in different cities, they spend time every week dabbling in new video games and mostly just talking about anything and everything! While at ND, Ryan met Barbara for the first time and "borrowed" her Ninja Turtles outfit - she wasn't so sure about that, but now they're friends! Case is also godfather to Ryan's son Leo so they're really stuck with each other!
Margaret Smith
Sibling of the Bride
Margaret has seen it all from day 1 with Barbara. Margaret is older and definitely wiser and has always been there for the best advice, cooking tips and directing impromptu plays/musicals in our childhood days. Growing up, Barbara was lucky to have a sibling and friend as amazing as Margaret - they once even attended a tennis camp just so Barbara wouldn't have to go alone. If you need help thinking through a problem or walk to talk Top Chef, improv or really anything, Margaret is your person!
Cary Sketch

Cary is Case's younger brother and Case is also godfather to Cary's son Will. Since they are 4 years apart, Case and Cary didn't always get along perfectly, but they've grown out of it :) They both share an adventurous spirit by living in different cities from home - Cary now lives in Memphis and loves it! In college, Cary coached high school football and he played in high school, so he is your guy if you want to talk football or University of Louisville sports!
Olivia Sketch

Olivia is Case's younger sister and Barbara is so excited to have a new sister-in-law! Olivia is an amazing dancer, Mario Kart-player and most importantly she and Barbara share a love of Graeters ice cream. Olivia came to visit Barbara & Case in SF last year and suffered through 100 degree wine tastings in Sonoma, but we still had so much fun! Olivia is also a dance teacher so if you need any tips on the dance floor, she's your girl!
Josh Volpenhein

Case and Josh have been friends since high school and somehow made it through without getting into TOO much trouble. They've been great friends ever since, despite not getting to see each other very often. Josh is a huge UK fan and would love to discuss (aka debate) about how they've been wronged at any time.
Alyssa Lang

Alyssa and Barbara have been friends since freshman year at Notre Dame and were roommates senior year! Alyssa is Barbara's go-to friend for movie recommendations (mainly rom-coms), dance parties and a good cookie/candy splurge. One of Barbara's favorite memories with Alyssa is hanging out in our apartment the day after a night out looking at all of the many ridiculous photos they took. Barbara is so grateful for Alyssa's friendship and can't wait to get down with her on the dance floor!
Seth Mattson

Seth and Case have been friends since freshman year at ND and were roommates in Stanford Hall. You could say Seth is credited with Barbara and Case meeting so, thank you to Seth :) You can find Seth flying around the world as an Air Force pilot and he's always down to chat about his life in the Netherlands / Germany, ND, biking or outdoor activities!
Blair Anstaett

Barbara met Blair on the first day of 5th grade when their desks were in the only pod of 2 in the whole classroom, which luckily worked out! Through middle school and high school, they spent many days wandering Winnetka, at rummage or hanging out at Blair's house (including her always awesome birthday scavenger hunts/smores sleepovers). Blair went to University of Virginia and would happily chat about their sports (or in general, Blair knows her stuff about many sports), tennis or cats, to name a few!
Nick Nakos

Case and Nick met through Ryan and have become great friends! Nick is hilarious and Barbara likes to tell him he should be a stand-up comedian. He is one of the most fun people to hang out with and is always looking out for others. He's your guy if you need a laugh, fun conversation or to have a drink at the bar.
