There will be an option to add travel accommodations during your resort booking. Please reach out to Isabel or David if you opted out of that add-on so they can help you coordinate an alternative.
While we were there we made note of things we wish we would have packed. Here's what we recommend: 1. Pack a change of clothes (beachwear) in your carry on so you can change and enjoy the resort when you arrive (if before check in) you can eat, or chill by the pool until your room is ready 2. Tips: tipping your concierge, waiter, cleaning staff and drivers is customary here. Bring plenty of singles so you can show your appreciation. 3. Cash: you can do pesos or dollars. They have vendors at night with local artisan goodies and gifts 2. Plenty of sunscreen (it's very expensive at resort) and a hat 3. Insulated cup (yeti, stanley, etc) so your drink stays cold/covered while at pool/beach 4. Water Shoes (recommended by David who's a square) some part of the beach are a little rocky, but nothing crazy. 5. Closed toed shoes or strappy/secure sandals for the bike ride 6. Dressier Clothes for dinnertime. Most restaurants require men to be in long pants and casual shoes, women are encouraged to be in dressier outfits like skirts, dresses, and blouses.
Because of the resort's guest policy we're asking everyone attending the wedding to stay at the Jade Resort. The hotel charges "fees" for anyone coming into the hotel for a "day pass". We hope to be able to spend as much time with each of you, and staying in the same location would be best. If you have chosen to stay off-site please let Isabel or David know so they can secure a guest pass for the day. Please note guest passes can only enter the resort 30 mins before the ceremony.
The sooner the better! Please only RSVP if you already reserved your room, or in the process of reserving. Your Hotel Reservation will be your official RSVP. All reservations must be arranged through Deanna. The last day to reserve a room for our party is June 31st 2024.
