ORD vs MDW

You can fly into either O’Hare or Midway Airport. Both are convenient options with plenty of transportation choices available. Note: if you fly into O'Hare and want to use ride share services, you will have to walk to Terminal 2, as this is the only terminal that allows ride share pickups.

There are plenty of AirBNB options throughout the city. Areas we think you will love are Lincoln Park, Gold Coast, River North, The Loop, West Loop. However, if you prefer a hotel, we recommend Hotel Lincoln - JDV by Hyatt, as our favorite farmers' market is right in front of the building on Saturday.

Public transportation accepts Apple Pay, or you can purchase a Ventra Card at any kiosk. The main advantage of using a Ventra Card is that it automatically applies reduced fares for transfers. Another convenient option is Uber or Lyft. Rides from the airport typically cost $40–$50, while trips within the city usually range around $20.
