We would recommend it as soon as possible. Flight costs into Chicago typically only increase the closer you get to travel day.
Sorry, we're unable to arrange that - but check out our travel notes for best tips for ride shares and rental cars!
There is no parking available at the venue. We kindly ask all guests to use a ride share service or public transportation to and from Beatnik West Town. The venue is centrally located and easily accessible by CTA, with several train and bus lines nearby. We appreciate your help in keeping things simple (and stress-free!) by skipping the search for parking.
Chicago is a huge city with landmark hotels, unique boutiques, and dozens of different AirBnbs & vacation rentals to suit your needs - feel free to explore. All wedding events will take place in West Town and West Loop, so we recommend those neighborhoods, as well as Lincoln Park to keep your movements safe and convenient.
Chicago in July is summer at its best! While we can’t control Mother Nature, history tells us to expect warm, sunny days with highs in the low to mid-80s°F and comfortable evenings in the 60s°F. It’s typically bright and breezy, perfect for patio cocktails and dancing under the stars. We recommend light, breathable fabrics by day and a light layer for after sunset. Rain showers are possible. Overall, it’s one of the most beautiful times to be in Chicago—ideal for a summer celebration in the city.
Our wedding will take place indoors at Beatnik West Town, where all festivities will be comfortably inside. However, if the weather is perfect (and we’re hoping it will be!), the venue’s retractable roof may be opened to let in some fresh summer air and sunshine. Either way, you’ll enjoy the same beautiful space—rain or shine!
We wish we could say no—but it’s Chicago! Traffic can definitely get busy, especially on weekends and around downtown. We recommend planning extra travel time and using a ride share or public transportation to make things easy. The venue is centrally located in West Town, so you’ll avoid most of the highway gridlock—and no need to worry about parking once you arrive!
