Andrea moved to Baltimore on Christmas Day in 2016. William attended Goucher College and had stayed in Baltimore upon graduation. Andrea had joined a skeeball league upon her move to make friends and find a social scene. One of her friends she made in this league, Leila, had heard Andrea's desires to just meet a "really nice, normal guy" and knew Will was the one for her. Will had just purchased a home in Federal Hill in May 2017, and had invited Leila to his housewarming party. Leila brought Andrea along and the rest is history after a few margaritas. They met on June 3, 2017 so their wedding date is 5 years to the day that they met.

Will had his heart set on proposing to Andrea despite the pandemic. Andrea knew something was up when he came home from work and said "let's order Cinghiale tonight." Cinghiale is Andrea and Wills favorite "fancy" restaurant, and they had just re-opened in the pandemic. Will wanted to get a quick run in, so Andrea ordered while he was on his run. Little did Andrea know, he was running to Federal Hill to meet the photographer. They picked up their takeout and went for a walk. By now Andrea definitely knew something was going on, and when they got the park he got down on one knee, and asked her to spend their lives together forever. They went home and celebrated with good wine and food, champagne and called their family and friends.
