On the afternoon of December 15, he took her on a date, but they stopped at Monticello Trail to snag a bunch of holly branches for her mom. Little did she know that he had been there two hours before helping photographers hide among the trees and to pray over the promise they were about to capture. After a short walk for her, but a long walk for him, he pulled out a note that she wrote four years prior and read it back to her and said, "this was the moment I knew I wanted to marry you." Then he got on one knee, both were teary-eyed and he asked her to marry him. And she said YES!

She loves that he is her best friend. She loves that he kisses her at red lights. She loves how handsome he is every. dang. day. She loves how passionately he tackles everything that he does. She loves how he points her toward Jesus and is a man of integrity. She loves his loyalty and how he cherishes the people around him. She loves his generosity with his time and money, without even thinking twice. She loves that he chose her to be by his side for the rest of his life. Let's get married!!
