Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception will both take place at the Grandview. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside, so we encourage you to bring a jacket or shawl.

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

Arrival to the venue/welcome reception: between 3:30pm and 4:00pm Ceremony: 4:00pm to 4:30pm Cocktail hour and reception to follow. Afterwards, we hope you will join us to continue the after-party at the hotel bar.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The welcome reception begins at 3:30pm. We kindly ask that you arrive with enough time to find a seat for the ceremony beginning at 4:00pm, so we encourage arrival before 3:45pm.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and our reception is no different! We will conclude the reception around 9:30pm. As the festivities at the venue draw to a close, we invite you to continue the celebration with us at the hotel bar's after-party!

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! The hotel block is at the Hyatt Place Poughkeepsie. Details on how to reserve under the block are included under "Travel". Make sure to use the reservation code for the discounted rate. The standard check in time at the hotel is 3:00pm, and guests are kindly asked to arrive at the venue between 3:30 and 3:45pm. We strongly encourage our guests staying at the hotel block to call on the day of to request early check in. The venue is an approximate 10-minute drive from the hotel.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue? Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotel?

Answer

Guests are invited to stay at the Hyatt Place Poughkeepsie under our wedding block. We will have a shuttle to and from the Hyatt Place before and after the wedding. Please check back in for the exact timing of the shuttle (information coming soon). You are also more than welcome to drive to the venue on your own; there is ample parking at the venue and you are free to leave your car there overnight, if needed. It is an approximate 10-minute drive to the Grandview from the hotel.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! The venue, which is where the ceremony and reception will take place, has plenty of parking. You may leave your car overnight in the venue parking lot, if needed.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are so excited to see everyone dressed up! Please wear cocktail attire and be ready for dancing! Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside, so we encourage you to bring a jacket or shawl.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

You better believe it :) but of course, cash for bartender tips will always be welcomed by the venue staff.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

Hors d'oeuvres will be served during the sunset cocktail hour. Then, guests will settle in for a sit-down dinner, where you'll enjoy a selection of entrees. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let your server know during dinner.

Where can we find the wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! But if you would like to honor us with a gift, please feel free to browse "Registry" for ideas or find the link for our Newlywed Fund.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Gifts may please be delivered to our home at 26 Wayne Road, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410. There will also be a wedding card box at our reception, and there is a cash fund option on our registry.
