While both studying music education at Muskingum University, John and Kyle both sang in the Concert Choir and had many mutual friends. It wasn't until John's first vocal jury where Kyle was assigned to be his accompanist did the two interact on their own. They have been making beautiful music together ever since!

Kyle proposed to John on November 18 in their backyard while celebrating Kyle's birthday (a day early). It was a lovely evening sitting by the fire, making smores, drinking wine, and celebrating the love they have shared for many years!
