What is the wedding dress code?
Answer
Black tie optional. Formal or semi-formal dresses. Summery colors encouraged. Ceremony will be in a grassy area for anyone wearing heels.

While we love all of our younger friends and family, unfortunately the venue does not have the capacity for them. Adults only please.

Do I need to rent a car?
Answer
Nope! DC is very accessible by rideshare/cab, public transportation, bikeshare, scooter, and of course walking. The nearest metro stations to the hotels and venue is Dupont Circle Metro Station and U Street/Cardozo Metro Station. We recommend using Uber or Lyft as the best means of getting around. Street parking is available in most areas, but you will probably have to drive around a bit to find a spot.

Is there parking at the hotels?
Answer
The Line Hotel provides valet parking only. $55+tax per night. Yours Truly Hotel provides valet parking only. $65+tax per night. Will be discounted to $25+tax for those who book through the room block.

Is there parking for the ceremony & reception?
Answer
We highly recommend using Uber, Lyft, or cabs. There is no parking available directly at the venue. Street parking may also be available on Belmont Street and Crescent Place if you wish to drive. Please note that all parking on the left hand-side of those two streets is restricted to 2 hour parking, while parking on the right-hand side is partly restricted to 2 hours and partly unrestricted. Kalorama Rd NW also has street parking on weekends. If parking garage is needed: - Colonial Parking (public parking) is available at 2421 18th St NW and is an 8 min walk from venue - Paid parking for guests the The Line Hotel may be available and is a 9 min walk from the venue

How should I get to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
The most reliable, on-demand transportation option is Uber/Lyft or a cab. If you take a cab, you can tell them "16th and Belmont", then make a left and follow Belmont up around the curve to Crescent and Meridian. Pull into the first opening (cobblestone pavement).

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
We will have some light refreshments ready for guests at Meridian House at 4:30pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm. Please plan accordingly.

Can I smoke outside?
Answer
Because the venue is a historical property, they have a strict no smoking and no vaping policy anywhere on the property, including outside in the garden. Guests who partake will need to exit the venue from the front and take their smoke break on the street outside the property.
