Having you join us on Aug 31 is the greatest gift of all. However, since many of you have asked about our registries, we wanted to formulate a response.
Living in St. Thomas brings unique challenges, especially now that Kristel is working remotely from the USVI.
Power outages, hurricanes, and the unpredictability that comes with the tropics can seriously disrupt our daily life. So instead of putting together a wishlist or saving up for a honeymoon, we have been focused on essential home resiliency projects.
Your gifts will go towards things like backup power systems, solar panels, additional hurricane shutters, and energy-efficient AC units and fans — in other words, all the odds and ends that help us stay safe and functional year-round.
If you’d like to support these efforts, we'll keep you posted on how your generosity has made a difference. And remember, this isn’t about preparing for a Doomsday Apocalypse. We are really just getting ready for the fall season(s) in the USVI.
