Our online RSVP is open as a tab at the top of the website. Listed in your online RSVP should be the members of your party! Significant others and children are welcome if they are included in your online RSVP!

Answer

Please RSVP yes if you are coming and also let us know if you are unable to make it by RSVPing no. The deadline to RSVP will be April 6th, 2024.

Where is our registry?

Answer

Our website serves as one centralized registry. We are grateful for your presence on our big day. If you would like to gift more than that, find our registry on this website under the registry tab! We have a newlywed fund, which will go towards our expenses as we transition to being residents! If you wish to get us a physical gift, several are listed through the Zola store. We also have a honeymoon fund if you would like to help us cover extra adventures like a round of golf on our honeymoon.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Right now, the day is looking to be in the upper 70's with sun so plan accordingly to be outside! Assuming there is no rain, our ceremony will be outdoors with dinner being served inside the climate-controlled hangar nearby. If it rains, there is an indoor barn space where the ceremony will be held. Dancing in the evening will be on the patio, with patio heaters provided if it is cool.

What should I wear?

Answer

Dressy Casual to Cocktail is encouraged! Examples include sundresses/cocktail dresses/rompers/jumpsuits for ladies and nice pants and polo/button-down shirts with or without a jacket for gentlemen. We want everyone to enjoy our ceremony and reception and celebrate with us! Just make sure those shoes are comfortable for dancing!

When should I arrive?

Answer

Our venue is a little off the beaten path but has plenty of parking when you arrive! If you plan to attend the ceremony, 15 minutes in advance is plenty. Our ceremony and reception are in the same location with a cocktail hour with lawn games in between. Feel free to come anytime in between as the reception will begin around 6 pm.

How accessible is our venue?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are all in one location with handicapable parking available. It should be less than 75 feet walk on new, flat pavement to reach where the ceremony and reception are. There is air conditioning and heat to help with temperature control to help combat if the weather does not cooperate.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We are planning an unplugged ceremony, but feel free to take any other photos throughout the night. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer and will be sharing all our memories afterward on social media! If you share photos from our event, please use our hashtag #happiLayeverafter! so we can find them and savor those memories as well.

What if I have food restrictions?

Answer

We will be offering a variety of snacks during cocktail hour and a buffet for dinner! If you have severe accommodations that need to be met, let Maggie know. Otherwise, there will be a very large variety to pick and choose from.

How should I arrive?

Answer

Our venue has plenty of parking if you'd like to drive yourself. However, please be safe! We plan to have a 14-person shuttle for guests to and from the hotels offering round trips to our venue from around 2:45 pm until midnight if you choose to enjoy some of our adult beverages throughout the evening. Please be responsible!

What is there to drink?

Answer

We will have an open bar with a limited soft drink, beer, wine, and well drinks selections available from bartenders. Water bottles will be abundant throughout the night!

Do I need to bring money?

Answer

Our bar is open! There will be a jar available if you would like to cash tip our bartenders or participate in our dollar dance alternative - there will be a Cubs vs Cardinals show down you can vote on; however, these are not required, so feel free to leave your wallet at home!
