We’ll definitely miss you if you're unable to make it! As we finalize our wedding plans, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible through the RSVP section. This will help us make any necessary adjustments to our arrangements. Thank you for keeping us informed!
If your name is listed on the invitation or if you have a plus-one option when you RSVP, then you’re welcome to bring a guest! Otherwise, we’re aiming to keep the wedding intimate, focusing on close friends and family.
We’re happy to have your children join us for the celebration! However, if your little ones are too young to fully enjoy the evening, you might consider a babysitter so you can relax and have a great time. Choose what works best for your family!
We want to ensure that our venue is accessible to everyone. If you have any special accommodations or accessibility needs, please reach out to us at allyandjames2025@gmail.com so we can discuss options and make arrangements to ensure you have an enjoyable experience. Your comfort and enjoyment are important to us!
Following our wedding, Ally will be going by Ally Baker Greytok. When addressing us, please feel free to say: Mr. James Greytok and Mrs. Ally Baker Greytok or Mr. and Mrs. Greytok is great too! This change reflects our union while honoring both of our family names.
Our wedding will be black-tie optional, so we encourage you to dress in your finest evening attire. For women, this could mean a long or midi gown or dress, while men might opt for a suit. Our event will mostly take place on a grass lawn, so please keep this in mind when choosing your footwear. Ipswich is generally warm with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to the mid-80s (around 24-30°C). However, cooler evenings are common, especially in September. We would advise packing a shawl or cover-up if you tend to get chilly in the evenings. We look forward to celebrating in style with you!
We will have shuttles available to pick up and drop off guests from both the Rockport and Gloucester areas for the 30-minute drive to Ipswich and back. If you'd rather drive yourself, you're more than welcome to, as there's plenty of parking at the venue. Just a quick note: rideshares will most likely not be available late in the evening, so please plan accordingly to make sure you have a reliable way to and from the celebration. We want everyone to arrive and depart safely! If you will be making your own way to the venue, we suggest aiming to arrive at 5:30pm to allow time for seating and to ensure the ceremony starts promptly. If you do chose to leave your car overnight, please pick it up by Sunday morning as the venue may be hosting another event later in the day.
Our ceremony will be fully outdoors in the Italian Garden at the Crane Estate. Our cocktail and reception will be inside/outside and tented at the Great House.
Our cocktail hour will directly follow our ceremony, just a short walk up the property - there is also an option to drive for those with limited mobility.
To keep our ceremony intimate, we ask that you please refrain from using your phones for photos and videos. We have a professional photographer and videographer to capture all the special moments, and we’d love to see your faces in our pictures rather than your phones or cameras. Thank you for your understanding!
During cocktail hour, we’ll be serving hors d'oeuvres, followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree and a full open bar. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
Our reception will end at midnight! If you prefer to head out earlier, there will be an early shuttle option available. Otherwise, we can’t wait to dance the night away with you!
We would love to answer any other questions you might have! Feel free to text Ally or James, or email us at allyandjames2025@gmail.com
