Here are our tips for traveling to Mexico: - Bring some US dollars with you so you have cash and you can use US credit cards at most places. We recommend getting pesos out at an ATM and always have cash (small bills or coins especially for tipping). - If paying with your credit card somewhere it is best to be charged in US dollars to avoid any additional charges. - As you probably all know only drink bottled water. Ice at bars and restaurants of the list we have recommended is ok too and most restaurants that is the case. - Get the WhatsApp app on your phone to call/text while in Mexico - Remember to SLOW down and enjoy the culture. We are going to be in a small beach town so the pace is much slower and more relaxed
In March it can average from 75-85 degrees during the day and can get down to the mid 60's at night.
Sayulita is a small town that you can easily walk but a lot of people drive golf carts around town as well. We will have options closer to the wedding date for golf cart rental information.
Kids of all ages are welcome. We will have options for reputable babysitters in Sayulita if interested please reach out to Lauren or Kyle directly.
Everything will be outdoors to enjoy the beautiful weather and sunsets Sayulita has to offer.
The ceremony will be on the beach and reception will be on grass. Use your best discretion (no stilettos, chunky heels or sandals recommended).
Please reach out to Lauren or Kyle with questions we will be happy to help. You can email us at laurencbaird@gmail.com or kyle.jreuter@gmail.com or text/call us directly. When you arrive in Mexico our lovely wedding planner Somer will be there to help with anything as well.
