Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal, Black Tie Optional – Tuxedos and gowns encouraged; dark suits and elegant formal attire are also welcome. Our palette includes ivory, gold, black, and touches of green. Guests are welcome to wear black (always classic!) or lean into timeless tones like navy, metallics, or rich jewel shades. Can I bring a date?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! If your invitation includes a guest, their name will be listed with yours (or you’ll see “& Guest”). If not, we’re keeping our guest list intimate and can only accommodate those formally invited.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! Our wedding will be an adults-centered celebration. The only children attending will be those who are part of the wedding party. We hope this makes for a fun night out for you to relax and celebrate with us!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors, and since it’s Virginia in November, we recommend keeping an eye on the weather and dressing accordingly. A wrap or shawl is a great idea for women. The reception will be held in a tent with side walls that can be lowered and heaters that can be turned on if the temperature calls for it.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive by 3:00 PM to allow time for parking and seating. To preserve the sanctity of the moment, entry will not be permitted once the processional has begun. Thank you for honoring this with us.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests wait to RSVP until formal invitations are received. The response deadline will be included at that time.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The venue has on-site parking available for all guests, and attendants will be there to direct you when you arrive. Rideshare drop-off is also simple and close to the ceremony area. Accessible transportation is available for guests with mobility concerns. The venue can provide golf cart pickup from the parking area and transport to the ceremony location. If you would like to use this option, please contact Maggie with your name and phone number so arrangements can be made with the venue in advance.
