Directions to the Ceremony

Type in this address to your GPS for the quickest route to the Lake of the Woods Botanical Gardens 650 N. Lombard, Mahomet, IL. From I-74, take exit 172. After the ceremony, follow signs in the park for the Lake of the Woods Pavilion. Click the "View" button below to access more directions on the Lake of the Woods website.

Ceremony Parking

For the ceremony, park head-in on the parking lots and on the grass along both sides of the access roads to the garden. We will try to have someone there to assist. Please Note: The museum parking lot is about 2 blocks two north of the wedding site; you will have a longer walk if you park there. For ADA Accessibility: The park welcomes you to drive in and drop someone off at the ceremony site, but you must move your vehicle from the immediate ceremony site for safety reasons.

COVID-19 Precautions

Due to the state mandate, we have limited our wedding to 50 guests. We are still working through day-of practices to ensure everyone's safety. Click the "View" button to learn more about local COVID-19 testing and cases. For added peace-of-mind, free COVID-19 tests are available at several local testing sites.

Overnight Accommodations

If you plan to stay overnight, please make your reservations early. Our wedding happens to fall on an Illini game day, and hotels fill up quickly. There are also several nice Airbnb options in the area.

Flight

Willard Airport

This is the closest place to fly into, with American Airlines being the only commercial flight service offered. Bloomington, Peoria, and Springfield are other airports within 90 minutes of the venue.

Train

Amtrak

The Amtrak station is conveniently located in downtown champaign.
