We're Getting Married

Morgan and Joe met on Hinge, and from the very beginning, their story unfolded in the most fitting way. What was meant to be a simple first date, dinner and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, ended with a popped tire on the way back to Joe’s apartment. Morgan got a front-row seat to Joe doing his absolute best to stay calm and collected, while very obviously being extremely frustrated (a heroic effort, truly). After the tire fiasco, they went back at Joe’s apartment and did not stop talking until 6 a.m. Somewhere between the trauma-dumping, laughter, and quiet moments of being fully seen, they both realized they had found their person. That chaotic first date set the tone for a relationship built on honesty, humor, and choosing each other, especially when things didn’t go according to plan. Funny enough, they don’t actually know the exact day they officially started dating, so naturally, they mutually decided on September 14, 2023. Over the next few years, they went through more together than most people their age ever expect to. Through every challenge, they grew stronger, learned to choose each other daily, and discovered that love isn’t about perfection, it’s about showing up. Through it all, their favorite phrase became “that tracks," a reminder to laugh, lean in, and keep going, no matter what life threw their way. On August 7, 2025, Joe proposed at the dock of Morgan’s parents’ lake house at Nolin Lake, a place already filled with so many memories. He lined the path to the dock with signs marking meaningful moments from our relationship and proposed in the middle of a heart made of lanterns. It was thoughtful, emotional, and completely us. As they step toward forever, Morgan and Joe know that life will never be perfectly planned, and that’s exactly what makes it beautiful. With steady hands, open hearts, and a love shaped by laughter, honesty, and late-night conversations, they are ready for every joy and challenge still ahead. This day is not just the beginning of a marriage, but a promise to keep choosing one another, to find magic in the ordinary, and to create a home wherever they are together. They cannot wait to celebrate this moment and a lifetime of love, adventure, and “that tracks” moments with all of you.
