Private Elopement

The Wedding Website of Bailey Donahue and Zane Nash
After going to bed at midnight, Zane and I woke up at 2am to get ready for the fun-filled day ahead of us. We started the drive around 3 and in all of the excitement, we managed to get lost, putting us 30 minutes behind. Pulling up the the trail head, we found we had just missed a thunderstorm, thank goodness for being late. We got our headlamps out and set out on the trail in complete darkness. We made it to the top as the sun started to peak over the hills. We quickly got dressed in separate areas; the spot I picked in the dark happened to be on the trail (a crowded trail as we learned). When it was time for the first look, I crawled down the rocky path onto the cliff to meet Zane. We started the ceremony shortly after (5 minutes in, we realized the photographer who was 200 yards away on another cliff had our rings). Afterwards, we hiked to the next cliff and watched the sun rise while we popped champagne and took in our surroundings.

This was during our ribbon binding moment. After we admitted we were truly afraid we were going to fall off the cliff because the wind had gotten so bad and our eyes were closed.

This is the last picture we have of the veil. It was never to be seen again.

Casually texting our families this picture later that night at dinner. We went to Public Fish and Oyster, it was the best meal we have ever had!

We went to Ragged Branch Distillery for some whiskey. Both the Whiskey and views were spectacular. Plus they sell Coffee roasted with the wood from the barrels. AND THEY HAVE A DOG.
