FAQs

Question

Can we bring anything?

Answer

Please bring a mask in order to stay safe during COVID-19. If you forget, one will be given to you.

Question

Will there be parking available at the venue (Flora Corner Farm?)

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available and attendants to assist.

Question

Does the venue have restrooms?

Answer

Yes, the venue has restrooms and also changing tables for kids if needed.

Question

Can we take pictures?

Answer

Absolutely, before the ceremony, and at the reception. Our ceremony will be reserved for the wedding photographer only.

Question

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Answer

No, the venue does not allow for outside beverages. We will provide alcohol with a licensed bartender. Those who are not 21 and over should not consume alcohol. If you are underage and caught drinking, you will be asked to leave.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We are going for business casual or semi-formal. September in Maryland can be humid so try to wear something you’ll be comfortable in.

Question

Is the venue air conditioned?

Answer

Yes and no, the ceremony will be outside but the reception is inside. The good news is that we are having an evening event so it will not be as hot. Dinner will be served inside of the air-conditioned barn. Due to COVID-19 the dancing will have to take place outside, but underneath a tent.

Question

I have a dietary restriction and/or allergy. Will I be able to enjoy the dinner?

Answer

We are using Mission BBQ for the reception. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies please reach out to us so that we can talk with the caterer to find out what is safe and what is not.

Question

What are some things we can expect in light of the COVID-19 pandemic?

Answer

Our guest number has decreased significantly to ensure social distancing. If you have not RSVPd at this point, you will not be able to attend. Family and bridal party are our first priority. The venue is requiring every guest to wear a mask, you will also have your temperature taken as soon as you arrive. Guests with a temperature of 100.4 or greater will not be permitted. You may remove your mask when eating and drinking but that is it. Dancing will be held outside and a tent will be available. Inside areas will be available for dinner service, cake cutting, bathrooms, and other social interaction. Seating during ceremony and reception will be spaced apart to ensure best social distancing practices. The health and safety of our guests are our number one priority. Those who do not follow guidelines will be asked to leave. Thank you!
