Explore the Grounds
Part botanical garden and part museum, Grounds for Sculpture is a thrilling and whimsical place, filled with both familiar and unusual art. You will have all day access to explore the grounds, so feel free to bring a pair of comfortable shoes with you. Check out the Grounds’ interactive map and a few highlights below. After the ceremony, spend some time in the area checking out various sculptures from renowned artists before heading down to the reception.
Art scene: Monet Bridge
Take a stroll over the Monet Bridge that was recreated from Monet’s famous painting, “Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies.” The area surrounding the bridge is planted with water lilies and weeping willow trees to closely replicate the painting.
Art Scene: On Poppied Hill
A life-sized sculptural work on a poppied hill inspired by the Claude Monet painting, 'Woman with a Parasol - Madame Monet and Her Son' (1875).
