Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses (the grass may be soft, be mindful if wearing heels), and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sport coat.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place at Swan Lake Event Center! Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside with an inside reception.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

You are welcome to drive to the venue. The address can be found on the travel tab. Guests of the hotel will also have the option of taking a shuttle to and from the venue and hotel (if space permits). The hotel is 15 minutes away from the venue.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 3:30pm. We ask that all guests arrive and are seated absolutely no later than 3:20pm.

Where should guests park?

Answer

The venue has a large parking lot fully open to all of our guests. If you are staying at the hotel and drive to the venue but want to shuttle back to the hotel, cars can be left on the gated property but will need to be removed the next morning.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

We are getting married (outside) in April, in Ohio... your guess is as good as ours!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony and ask that all phones and cameras be turned off so you can be fully present with us. After the ceremony though please take all the pictures you'd like! If you share to social media we ask you use #PassBaileyTheMike so we can see all the amazing memories in one place!

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, we have a block of rooms set aside at Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center. You can find all those details under the Travel tab!

Will transportation be provided to/from the hotel and venue?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided for hotel guests only to help you get to the venue from the hotel and back to the hotel at the end of the night! For more information refer to the travel tab.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Crate and Barrel, Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond and Mayc's. However, feel free to shop through the registry tab, the retailers site or in stores!
