FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you will be attending no later than January 15th, 2026.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest loved ones! Due to venue limitations and our guest list, we’re only able to accommodate those who are listed on your invitation and the website when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding! If you have any questions about this, please reach out to us personally.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but to keep our celebration intimate, we're only able to include children who are part of the wedding party or specifically listed on the website when you RSVP. We truly appreciate your understanding as we keep things small and special! Again, if you have any questions about this please reach out personally.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes— Coastal Cocktail! The ceremony will take place outdoors, and it will likely be warm, so lightweight fabrics, breathable styles, and comfortable shoes are highly recommended. We want everyone to look great and feel great! Some examples: Linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, maxi dresses, and sandals.

Question

What’s the weather usually like during the wedding?

Answer

March in Puerto Vallarta is warm and mostly sunny, with daytime temperatures typically in the mid-80s. It can get a bit humid, so breathable, lightweight clothing is definitely a must to stay comfortable. Evenings tend to be cooler and more pleasant. We recommend packing sun protection and light layers to help you enjoy the beautiful weather to the fullest!

Question

What can we expect to do on the other days of the trip?

Answer

The days outside of the wedding festivities are all yours to enjoy however you like—we want this trip to feel like a vacation for you, too! Mauricio and I will probably be relaxing by the pool and would love for anyone who wants to join us to come hang out. Whether you’re in the mood to explore the town, unwind on the beach, or enjoy the resort’s amenities, there’s plenty to do at your own pace. We’ve also put together some of our favorite local spots and activity ideas on the “Things to Do” tab, so be sure to check it out while planning your trip!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We kindly ask that all guests stay at Dreams Vallarta Bay, where the wedding will take place. It’s an all-inclusive resort just 12 minutes from the airport, and staying on-site makes it super convenient for you to enjoy all the festivities. Please refer to the 'travel' tab for more info!

Question

How do I book my hotel room?

Answer

You can find all the booking details under the Travel tab on our website. We’ve partnered with a travel agent who will help make the process easy for you! If you have any questions or need help with your reservation, don’t hesitate to reach out to her or us directly!

Question

Is there a room block or group rate?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a room block at Dreams Vallarta Bay to make things easy (and more affordable!) for our guests. Booking through our room block ensures you’re part of the wedding group and helps us meet our resort requirements. You’ll find all the details—including rates and how to book—on the Travel tab of our website. If you have any questions, our travel agent is happy to help!

Question

What days are most guests staying?

Answer

We anticipate most guests arriving on Thursday and leaving Sunday! The bride and groom are planning on arriving Wednesday, and leaving to celebrate our marriage on Sunday at a different destination. Please feel free to arrive and leave as you please! The more the merrier!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No need to worry about transportation—everything is happening right at the resort! The ceremony, reception, and all wedding events will be conveniently located on-site at Dreams, so you’ll be just steps away from all the fun.

Question

What’s the closest airport and how do I get from there to the resort?

Answer

The closest airport is Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport, which is just about 12 minutes from the resort. Once you land, transportation to Dreams is quick and easy. If you book through our travel agent (details on the Travel tab), they can help arrange airport transfers for you. Otherwise, taxis and shuttles are available just outside the airport.

Question

I am overwhelmed, I can’t figure any of this out. Who can I ask for help?

Answer

Hi!! It’s Bailey! Text me! 949-444-3737. I got you!
