Safari Park Activities
You will have full access to the park including a ticket for the Africa Tram. So, before the wedding, feel free to spend the day exploring the Serengeti, trying to find the entire cast of the Lion King, or watch elephants play in Elephant Valley. If you’re up for some more exciting adventures, the Park offers some awesome additional experiences like zip-lining over the African Plains or heading up in a hot air balloon. These experiences can be purchased at the park or online ahead of time at a discount here: https://sdzsafaripark.org/view-all-safaris Some of our favorite exhibits include Condor Ridge, Walkabout Australia, and the Hidden Jungle Aviary! Plus, you can't go wrong with the Africa tram ride included with your ticket.
Parking
Enclosed in your invitation was a voucher for complimentary parking. Please present this voucher to the booth attendant when you arrive to the Safari Park. (Need another voucher? Please contact the bride or groom and we will message/email you one!) Please arrive no later than 4:45pm to give you plenty of time to park and make your way to the ceremony site. At 4pm, a table will be set up at the entrance where guests may check in and pick up their park tickets. After you have checked in, a tram will take you to the ceremony site. If you are interested in visiting the park prior to the wedding, tickets will be available at will call from 9:00am until 4pm. Finally, if you plan on leaving your car overnight - please make a note of where you parked and let the staff know when you check in. The park recommends picking up your car by 8:00 am the next morning to avoid paying any parking fees.
