We're getting married!

It was August 2019, and Bailey was an incoming freshman at Kilgore College when she saw the cute RA with long hair carrying a mattress down the hallway on Move-In Day. A few days passed, and fate (and free prizes) brought them a little closer. Bailey, who never misses a chance for a good deal, showed up at an all-campus welcome event where she won a $50 Walmart gift card. Jordan noticed her then, and the two went about their first week of school. The two didn’t officially meet until the Monday of the second week of school, when they ended up sitting at the same cafeteria table with mutual friends during dinner. Later that same night, a fire alarm went off in Bailey’s dorm (wonderful timing). Everyone evacuated, and Bailey found herself waiting by the curb when a certain long-haired boy in a bright yellow Dodge Charger drove by, pulled to the side, and asked if she wanted to join the friend group in hanging out again that evening. They ended up spending time with their friends at Kilgore's Chalk Road that night, and two nights later, Jordan really sealed the deal by doing the one thing guaranteed to win over Bailey’s heart: he bought her an Oreo Blast from Sonic. Over the next few months, the 18-year-old freshman and 20-year-old RA became best friends and fell in love. Now, six years later, they’ve laughed through four years of long-distance, college life, dance performances, worship sets, graduations, job hunts, and life-changing chapters. Today and forever, they’re beyond excited for their next adventure: living life side by side as one.
