Best Woman
Sister - Liz is my little sister by six years. We fought like most siblings but also shared common interests. We bonded by going to see the band "Garbage" together and driving back home late at night. We also share a love for reading and being very snarky.
Matron of Honor
High School Besties - Although having been in choir together all throughout freshman year, our friendship did not blossom until Sophomore year. We bonded through our love of music and the TV show Friends. You can always find us trying to harmonize with the songs on the radio and once we start laughing we can't seem to stop.
Groomsman
Brother-in-Law - Nick was clearly a perfect match for Liz and he has always been a lot of fun to be around. We can always talk about video games and play strategy games as a family. I am glad he is a groomsman even though he tends to win "Ticket-To-Ride" too much.
Maid of Honor
College Besties - We met at UW-Stevens Point freshman year. We had mutual friends and also had a class together. We really didn't hangout much together though until we moved in together Junior year. During our free-time, we became each other's partner in crime for entertainment. We have been super close ever since.
Groomsman
Mutual Friend - Jacob was our Supervisor at work when Bailey and I first met. He was a big participant in the banter between our cubicles. We both have had good times hanging out at the bonfires at his house and we continue to get together to play Pathfinder.
Bridesmaid
Cousins - With only a one year age difference, we were each others buddies at every family function and have an unconditional love for each other. We both had February birthdays and shared a Godmother as well as a middle name. We were both flower girls for our Godmother and we would always talk about how one day we would get married and be apart of each other's days.
Master of Ceremony
Friends - We were acquaintances in high school as we both participated in the Theatre Department at Kimberly High School, but in different roles. I would be performing in the shows and Nicole would be part of the crew that helped run the show backstage. When we did hangout, it was always a good time. We didn't become extremely close until she ended up going to UW-Stevens Point for college. It had been about a quarter into my sophomore year (her freshman year) when we randomly bumped into each other as I was about to get some food. She decided to chat with me while I ate, and I found out that her living situation was not ideal. I just so happened to be living in a dorm room by myself and suggested she switch rooms. It was decided and we became roommates. She is also very crafty!
Ring Bearer
On November 5, 2014, this little peanut arrived in my life. Since that day, he has been the sunshine on a rainy day. He loves trains and cars like most boys. As he is growing, he is becoming very smart and feisty like his Aunt Veta. I couldn't imagine our wedding day without him.
Fellowship of the Ring
Sister - As I am the youngest, I have known Elyse my whole life. She was excited that I arrived because I was like a life size doll. Even though there is a 6-year age difference I seemed to naturally gravitate towards her. She would always include me with her friends when possible and calm me down when I was upset. Even if that meant finding my Princess Jasmine pajamas in the dirty laundry to let me wear them. It was about the only thing that would get me to stop crying. Our relationship has continued to grow as we move through life and I am blessed to have her be part of my wedding.
Fellowship of the Ring
Sister - I have also known Veta my whole life. She was not so thrilled when I was born as I became the baby of the family and she was now the middle child. We would play together, fight a lot and as we grew up, I was definitely the annoying little sister. Veta became very independent and always was determined to achieve her goals. This brought on a confidence that I always admired. She also studied abroad and started to travel, which I am glad that I followed in her footsteps to have similar experiences. Even though we didn't always get along, she was always there for me when I needed it. That is why I am glad she is part of my wedding.
Officiant
Brother-in-Law - Adam married my sister Veta in 2017. He has been a wonderful addition to our family and a great partner for my sister. He is always up for a good time and can start a conversation with just about anyone. As we didn't want a stranger to perform the ceremony, we were thrilled when Adam said he would be our officiant to make the ceremony even more special.
