FAQs

Question

Where can we park?

Answer

Event parking is available in our parking lot at 1313 Elmwood Avenue; on-street parking is located on Algoma Boulevard and surrounding streets Congress or Elmwood Avenue. Handicap accessible parking and parking for guests with mobility impairments is located in our parking lot on the north side of our mansion, off Algoma Boulevard.

Question

Where is the entrance?

Answer

The main entrance is on Algoma Blvd, but if you arrive after the ceremony, the gate entrance on Congress Avenue is the best entrance to use.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have soda, beer, and wine available until 8:30 PM. After 8:30 PM, beverages can then be purchased separately. Please remember to have cash on you. Water will be available the entire night. No carry-in alcoholic beverages are allowed at the venue.

Question

Will there be a Bridal Shower?

Answer

We intend to have a virtual Bridal Shower on Saturday, May 16th. Details will be coming soon...

Question

Will the wedding be cancelled, due to COVID-19?

Answer

The Paine Arts Center said that once the government lifts the stay-at-home order for non-essentials, they will be able to host weddings. It is currently a waiting game and we would love your thoughts and prayers to be for those currently suffering from this pandemic, but also that it slows down in time to move forward with our plans.

Question

What is the plan if social gatherings are still restricted to a certain number of people?

Answer

This will be looked at once that information is known. We would like everyone that RSVP's to attend, but if we need to shorten the list slightly we will be in contact with those individuals.

Question

What will happen if the wedding is cancelled?

Answer

At some point we will need to make a decision the closer we get to our hopeful wedding date. No matter what, we intend to get married on June 26, 2020. Even if that means just going to the courthouse. If we cannot hold the wedding ceremony and celebration with a significant attendance, we will be postponing the celebration to Sunday, November 1st. We will be in contact if we need to switch to our back-up wedding date. The goal is to have the wedding go on as planned in June.
