Our dress code is Garden Party (semi-formal). Lightweight suits, dress shirts, and slacks are great choices for gentlemen. Dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates are perfect for ladies. Floral prints and soft colors are always welcome! Our bridesmaids will be wearing solid shades of green, so we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing solid green. We also ask that guests avoid jeans, denim, or overly casual attire. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and ready to celebrate!
Our ceremony will take place outdoors at Sycamore Farm, weather permitting. The reception will follow indoors at the same location.
Please send your RSVP by March 25, 2026. Your response helps us finalize our guest count and make sure we have enough seating, food, and drinks for everyone. Thank you so much!
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event, besides those in the wedding party, so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
If you’d like to give a gift, we’ve started a honeymoon fund as we plan a tropical getaway together. You can find it here: https://www.honeyfund.com/site/brooks-whitlow-04-25-2026 We also have Zelle (812-327-6729) or Venmo (@Bailey-Brooks-10) available. Thank you for being part of this special time in our lives!
We recommend arriving about 20–30 minutes before the ceremony begins so everyone has time to find their seats and get settled. If you happen to arrive early, we kindly ask that you respect our vendors’ space while they finish setting up. Please head straight to your seats and avoid entering the reception area unless you need to use the restroom. Thank you for helping everything run smoothly!
We are hoping for a sunny day, but maybe bring a light jacket and be prepared in case of rain.
There is a free parking lot outside the venue.
After the ceremony, guests can head inside for cocktail hour. If the weather is nice, we’ll also have outdoor games available, including cornhole.
We will have a cash bar available throughout the evening (cash or credit card accepted). Guests will be able to purchase beer, wine, and cocktails, including Angry Orchard, Corona, Coors Light, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Moscato. However, we’re excited to offer two signature drinks on us — refreshing margaritas and ice-cold Miller Lite! There will also be a champagne toast to celebrate together. We can’t wait to raise a glass with you! 🍹🍺
We kindly ask that guests wait until after cocktail hour to place any personal items in the reception area. Our photographer will be taking detail photos of the space beforehand, and we want everything to look its best! Thank you for helping us keep the space photo-ready.
Of course! We’re happy for guests to take photos and videos throughout the day. We just kindly ask that you keep your phones on silent and avoid stepping in front of our photographer or content creator so they can capture the special moments. We’d also love to see the memories you capture, so feel free to share your photos with us after the wedding!
We will not be taking group photos after the ceremony. We want to enjoy that just-married moment together and keep the evening feeling natural rather than staged. Photos with our bridal party and immediate family will take place before the ceremony, and our photographer will capture candid moments of us throughout the night and during the reception.
Yes! There will be a card box available at the wedding for any cards. We’ll also have a Polaroid guest book where guests can snap a photo and leave a message for us. Be sure to stop by, take a photo, and leave us a note — we can’t wait to look back at them after the wedding!
Yes! The bride’s grandparents’ company, Garnish Catering, will be providing a buffet-style meal. The menu will include baked chicken with garlic cream sauce, herbed mashed potatoes, country-style green beans, caesar salad, fresh baked rolls with butter, and creamy mac & cheese. Water, lemonade, and unsweet tea will also be available. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions!
Guests will find their seats before heading up to enjoy the buffet. When it’s time to eat, please bring your glassware from the table with you to the buffet line.
Yes! We’ll have a DJ and a dance floor area, so come ready to dance the night away. Due to venue rules, music must end by 10:00 PM, but we plan to make the most of the time and keep the party going while we can!
Yes, we recommend planning transportation ahead of time for the end of the evening. Since the celebration will end around 10:00 PM, arranging a ride or designating a driver is a great idea.
At this time, we do not have a hotel block reserved. However, there are several hotels and accommodations in the area if you plan to stay overnight.
If you have any questions before the big day, feel free to reach out! You can email us at [baileyandevanswedding@gmail.com] or text/call us on our personal phones. Bailey: 812-327-6729 Evan: 812-391-3123 We’re happy to help with anything you might need.
