Flight
The Rome airport will be the closest to the Villa with a train that includes one stop in Rome to the train station in Manziana. The train station in Manziana is about a 10 minute walk from the villa.
Flight
Milan is sometimes a cheaper airport to fly into and has more flight options. This will be a little bit further away from the villa but you are able to take the train to get there. You can take the high-speed train from Milan to Rome, and then the train from Rome to Manziana. Train options are listed below:
Flight
This airport will be in between Milan and Rome. This airport is smaller than Milan and Rome airport. You will just need to make a couple stops before getting to Manziana. 1 stop in Florence to get to the main train station from the airport, and one stop at the Rome train station to get to Manziana.
Train
This train website is the best option for booking train tickets. It’s very user-friendly and fully in English, making the booking process easy and smooth. Important Note: Train routes and schedules are typically released only 4–5 months in advance. I’ll update the exact routes and travel details as we get closer to the travel dates.
Train
This is the Italian website for most trains in Italy. Sometimes you find the cheapest prices here. If you prefer using the direct site for train tickets, you can find it here. Note: Some servers block this website while on WiFi. You may need turn off your WiFi and use your data to view. You can also download the app.
Train
Italo is the train websites for the high-speed trains throughout Italy. Please note: The high-speed trains normally only travel to major cities and not smaller cities. So you can go places like from Florence to Rome but not the small town of Manziana. This is recommended if you’re flying into Milan or Florence and need to get to Rome.
Travel Note
I have attached the exact walking route to get from Manziana train station (Manziana-canale Monterano) to our villa (Villa Clodia Relais). I do recommend taking a screenshot or picture of these directions so you have them when you arrive in Manziana. Make sure you have google maps downloaded to view these directions.

If you’re looking to travel to the Bellagio/Lake Como area, it is the easiest to get to from Milan. If you’re going from Rome, you’ll take the high-speed train from Rome to Milan > then a regional train from Milan to Varenna-Esino > once you get to Varenna-Esino, you will need to take a ferry to Bellagio. I have included the ferry website for Lake Como which has time schedules. You can buy tickets online or in person.

This is where we stayed in Positano. The views were AMAZING. The rooms were very cute and clean. It is not close to the beach and shopping area, so it is a little bit of a hike to get back to when going down to the beach.
