Donnie D’s Bagels and Deli
This is Aaron’s favorite breakfast shop! Highly recommend the breakfast pizza!
Our Daily Bread Bakery & Bistro
A small bakery that has dine in eating. Our favorite thing to order is the French toast platter (make sure you get brioche bread)!
Brambleton Deli
Bailey’s favorite restaurant for lunch and dinner. Her favorite is the Ham and cheese pretzel sandwich!
Texas Roadhouse
We often go by here with friends and enjoy steak at a reasonable price! You can get a whole steak dinner for around $12!
Mill Mountain Zoo
A very fun place to enjoy the day! The zoo here features some exciting animals and they recently opened a red wolf exhibit that is really cool to see! It’s also right next to the Mill Mountain Star!
Roanoke Pinball Museum
Definitely worth checking out! Buy tickets in advance! They have a lot of pinball machines to check out as well as some more modern games. We found ourselves in here with our friends and we’re surprised at how quick we ran out of our reasonably long amount of time!
Taubman Museum of Art
This building stands out in downtown as the only odd shaped building. It’s a nice place to check out some high quality exhibits!
Cafe Asia 2
This place is the only place Aaron will eat raw seafood. The quality of food and service is unparalleled! Highly recommend the golden dragon roll! If you don’t like sushi there are lots of other options like the teriyaki chicken! It can be a bit pricy though. I’d expect to pay around $30-$60 depending on what you get for 2 people. (Golden dragon roll is around $16 last time we went)

This is the best shopping area in the valley!

A childhood favorite! Their milkshakes are to die for!
Riddle Me Roanoke
Escape rooms are what Bailey and Aaron LOVE to do with their friends! Get together with some new friends you meet at the wedding and go enjoy an escape room! They have things good for both beginners as well as veteran puzzle solvers!
Downtown Roanoke
There is a lot of beautiful sights and things to do in downtown Roanoke! We just got a Mast General Store! It’s definitely worth checking out!
