The Hensleys

It all began on New Year’s Eve, a night full of new beginnings though neither of us could have imagined just how special that night would become. While everyone else was counting down to midnight, God was quietly orchestrating something far greater. We met that night, and from the very first conversation, something just clicked. What started as a simple hello turned into hours of laughter and deep conversation. Looking back, we can see so clearly that it wasn’t coincidence it was God’s goodness and perfect timing. People always say, “When you know, you know,” and we finally understand what that means. From the beginning, being together just felt peaceful and right, not rushed, not forced, but divinely aligned. We grew close quickly, drawn together by our shared faith, values, and an unexplainable sense of familiarity. God had clearly been preparing our hearts long before we met. In the weeks and months after that night, our connection deepened in the most natural way. We spent countless hours talking about life, faith, family, and the future. We prayed together, supported each other, and laughed until our sides hurt. Every moment seemed to confirm what our hearts already knew that this was something sacred, something meant to be. We’ve both walked through seasons that taught us patience, trust, and grace. Looking back, we can see how every twist and turn prepared us for this love. God was working behind the scenes, refining us, shaping us, and teaching us what true love looks like not just in emotion, but in faithfulness and commitment. As our relationship grew, we realized that love is not just about finding someone you can live with, but someone you can’t imagine living without. Our love has been built on peace, laughter, and the deep joy that comes from knowing God’s hand has been in it from the very start. When we think about that New Year’s night, we smile knowing that it perfectly represents our story, the end of one season and the beginning of something beautiful and new.
