Top-notch Texas BBQ. We recommend: smoked turkey breast, brisket sandwich, original and sweet & spicy barbecue sauce, sweet tea
Our favorite spot for breakfast tacos. If you ask Kath about their beans, be prepared for a puddle of drool to form. We recommend: THE BEANS, every breakfast taco, salsa verde
Another great breakfast taco spot, especially if you like corn tortillas! They even have a drive-thru #score We recommend: anything with chorizo, breakfast tacos on corn tortilla, carnitas
Best vibes in town. Our second home. We have been described as "regular regulars." We recommend: giving them all of your gold in exchange for fine goods and wares
There is so much to love about living in Central Texas. H-E-B is all of those things under one roof. :-) We recommend: quite literally everything. nothing at h-e-b is bad and everyone knows it. now you do, too <3
Never did we ever dream that our late night Dr. Pepper spot would also happen to be the actual biggest gas station in the world, but ain't that just about the most Texas thing you ever did hear? We recommend: avoiding this place like the plague during peak hours (holidays/holiday weekends, Sunday morning-afternoon), beef jerky, simply check out the soda fountain selections (ahem-- canada dry ginger ale?? whoever made that call deserves a raise), use the super clean and super private potty, try beaver nuggets just to say you did, get gas elsewhere
A cute lil brand new bookstore in historic downtown! The only bookstore in town and it's perfect for romance, fantasy, and romantasy readers. We recommend: grabbing a cup of coffee downstairs and checking out the merch upstairs!
We all know weddings can be stressful, so find your zen with an acupuncture reset! We have it on pretty good authority that she will be closed the weekend of the wedding, but if you’re in town at any other time, Trisha is a magician with needles. If you go, tell her the wedding website sent you! You won’t get a discount or anything, but she may get a laugh out of it.
