We love this place and try to eat here every time we're in Halifax. The service is always fantastic and the food is delicious! We both have the same favourite dish—the Mezzi Rigatoni Alla Boscaiola—and we highly recommend trying it. But honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Great spot for a relaxed meal and a glass of wine!

Peggy’s Cove is a tiny fishing village about 45 minutes from Halifax, famous for its classic red-and-white lighthouse sitting on giant ocean-side rocks. It’s one of the most photographed spots in Canada — and for good reason. You can wander the rocks (just avoid the wet “black rocks” near the water — they’re super slippery), take in amazing ocean views, and explore the small village with its boats, shacks, and little shops. It’s the perfect place for a slow, scenic stroll and some epic photos. Tip: Bring a jacket — it’s almost always windy!

It’s relaxed, artsy, and super walkable — perfect for an easy, scenic day by the water.
The Cabot Trail is one of the most beautiful drives in the world — a loop around Cape Breton Island packed with jaw-dropping ocean views, cliffs, mountains, and charming little towns. Whether you’re hiking, biking, or just cruising with the windows down, it’s all about scenic lookouts, fresh seafood, and spotting moose (maybe). Give yourself time — you’ll want to stop a lot. It’s Nova Scotia at its wild, rugged best. You'll need to rent a car and be ready for a nice long drive as the Cabot Trail is about 4 hours north of Halifax.
Point Pleasant Park is a big, beautiful green space at the south end of Halifax — perfect for a walk, jog, or just some fresh air.
