Before the big day, join us for an evening filled with good southern food, great drinks, and even better company! We’ll be sharing a delicious Texas-style meal, raising a few glasses, hearing some speeches, and soaking up some quality time with our favorite people, overlooking the Guadalupe River. With friends and family coming in from New York, Texas, and all over, this night is a chance for everyone to meet, mingle, and make some memories before the real party begins. Come hungry and ready to celebrate! Please note, this event is Invite Only, adults only. The Gristmill provides Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten Free entrees upon request.

We can’t wait to spend the evening with our favorite people! Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar, so come ready to raise a glass (or two) and toast to the weekend ahead! Get ready for a magical evening in the heart of the Texas Hill Country! We'll be tying the knot at a dreamy nature preserve on the water. After the "I do's," we’ll keep the celebration going with flowing drinks at the open bar, great music, and a dance floor that will be calling your name. Come ready to party, toast, twirl, and celebrate this big, beautiful moment with us! Please note, this event is strictly adults-only—no children or little ones allowed. We hope parents will enjoy this as a special date night and take some time just for themselves.

When the reception winds down, the party’s just getting started! Join us back at the Courtyard hotel for an afterparty under the stars. We’ll be gathering on the patio and wide-open lawn, lit by string lights, warmed by firepits, with private access to the Guadalupe river and a swimming pool for some late night dips. We’ll have music, beer, wine, seltzers, and mixers ready to go. You're welcome to bring your favorite drink of choice down if there’s something extra you love. Come as you are, kick off your shoes, bring your swimsuits if you're up for a swim, and keep the celebration going with late-night laughs, good vibes, and the best company. We'll close out the night the way it started: together.

Saturday River + Pool Hang Out

Swimsuits & a Smile
We will be hanging in the back yard of the Courtyard hotel on Saturday! There's a pool, a large lawn, and direct Guadalupe River access, with a dock and a beach (sand included). Feel free to bring any paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, beach towels, floats, tubes, water toys, fishing gear, etc. We'll be grilling up some hot dogs, hamburgers & grilled cheeses for lunch. Children are welcome! If you're driving in for the wedding, please bring some lawn chairs with you! We have a nametag system planned to make sure yours don't get lost/ swapped.
