Just minutes from the hotel, Uptown Altamonte is home to the Altamonte Mall and many shops, eateries and bars.
The Orlando Brunch Festival at Cranes Roost Park is on Saturday, February 23 starting at noon and features tons of brunch dishes, over 20 brunch cocktails and 30+ craft beers to sample, live music, games and fun for the whole family.
Blue Spring State Park is a designated manatee refuge and the winter home to a growing population of West Indian Manatees. During manatee season, which approximately runs from mid-November through March, several hundred manatee can be viewed atop the spring’s overlooks on cold days.
Thirteen miles of trails provide opportunities for hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding. Canoeists and kayakers can paddle along the Wekiva River and Rock Springs Run. Canoe and kayak rentals are available from the park's concessionaire.
The Central Florida Zoo is close by for a day adventure.
Walt Disney World is a half hour away from the hotel blocks. You can turn the wedding trip into a family vacation or just do something fun before or after the wedding day.
Many restaurants and shops in Winter Park, just 15 minutes from the hotel block.
At the Tomoka State Park, you can explore the 1.5 mile nature trail or rent canoes on the river. The park store also offers snacks and camping supplies.
Enjoy the day on the beach. While Florida is a bit chilly in February, our out-of-state guests may find it warm enough to enjoy the beaches.

The wedding is the week after the Daytona 500 race, however, racing enthusiasts can tour the speedway.
Flagler Avenue is one of Beth and Courtney's favorite spots. With plenty of cute shops and restaurants, you'll easily be able to spend a day on Flagler Ave., and, if you get bored, there is always the beach. Flagler Ave. hosts many festivals along the street throughout the year. As the wedding weekend approaches, we will update this section with any fun festivals for the weekend.

If you're bringing your pup, you can visit one of the dog beaches in Ponce Inlet, New Symerna Beach, or Flagler Beach.
St. Augustine is two hours away from Orlando. You can explore the historic fort, walk the streets of the market place, take a ghost tour, or explore the many museums.
While we've not been to Kennedy Space Center, it is only a little over an hour away from Orlando.
