This is Columbus' arts district, which is now mostly restaurants, bars, shopping, and great people watching! Sarah lived on High Street in the thick of things for a decade before meeting Chris a couple of years later :)
No trip is Columbus is complete without a walking tour of Ohio State University! Walk through the main Oval, then Northwest to see Ohio Stadium in all her glory. Sarah has two degrees from this fine institution, also the alma mater of her parents, brother, and dear family friend Karen. We bleed Scarlet and Grey! Although admittedly, since Chris has entered her life Sarah doesn't care about OSU football nearly as much as she used to :)
This is where we live! Talk a walk around the area, starting with a bakery treat at Kittie's Cakes (the home of our favorite Biscuit Egg Sandwich, Chris always eats two) or Pistacia Vera (macaroons and other desserts). Then walk South on 3rd street to the Book Loft, a super cozy book shop with 32 separate rooms! Then walk to Schiller Park, where you can explore the grounds, eventually leading to a very popular hipster coffee shop, Fox in the Snow.
And finally - no trip to Columbus is complete with some shopping! Columbus has long been a retail mecca, and Easton does not disappoint. Chris went for the very first time just this year, when we attended a comedy show, and declared it "everything that is wrong with America". By contrast, Sarah is there at least a few times a year to hit up her favorite stores, including Madewell and Lululemon (amongst many others ;)).
