Authentic southern food with a wide variety of whiskey to try. If you're a foodie like we are, and appreciate whiskey, this is a must-see.
Thomas Jefferson's Monticello
If you're a history buff, this is an absolute treasure of Charlottesville! You must go see this spot, whether you like history or not, it is a beautiful place to see. All the locals can't get enough!

South Street Brewery
Great brewery with an even cooler vibe, and right downtown! Also a full bar, complete with a food menu.

Recommended to us by our Uber driver as one of the best Italian restaurants in Charlottesville and only one of two Italian restaurants that makes their own homemade pasta. We really enjoyed this spot! Highly recommend stopping here if you like Italian.
Sedona Taphouse
Lots of beer selections. Also a full bar with a really good prickly pear margarita on the menu. The food was also delicious!
Farm Bell Kitchen
Right downtown, centrally located. A great breakfast/brunch spot!
Grace Estate Winery
A great vineyard to try with a wine to fit every person's palate. 360 degree views. We loved this spot!
Starr Hill Brewery
If you don't mind driving outside of Charlottesville, this is a fun brewery and vibe. Has every type of beer and good food trucks!

Fantastic French Restaurant. Pricey, but worth every penny. A must-see
The Farmhouse at Veritas
We haven't had a chance to try this restaurant experience yet. It is booked out weeks in advance. Very popular spot, if you're willing to venture outside of downtown Charlottesville. Lots of nearby wineries to enjoy as well!
Mudhouse Coffee 10th Street
This is a chain in VA. There are a couple locations in Charlottesville. Always need one coffee spot recommendation ;)
