Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, please ensure your passport is not expired. Highly recommended to have expiration after June 2025. If you do not have current passport recommend to start this process immediately as it can take 6-8 weeks minimum. Passports can be expedited for additional charge.

Is English prevalent in St Lucia?

Answer

Yes, you should have no issues if you decide to explore the island. English is spoken along with St. Lucian Creole.

What is the currency used in St Lucia? Where can I exchange currency?

Answer

The currency is the Eastern Caribbean (EC) dollar, but US dollars are widely accepted on the island. However, we are unsure how many places outside of the resort take credit/debit cards. Be prepared to pull cash.

Answer

Daily high temperatures are around 84°F, rarely falling below 82°F or exceeding 87°F. Daily low temperatures are around 77°F, rarely falling below 73°F or exceeding 80°F.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Business Casual, Semi Formal equivalent. Dress for hot, humid, tropical weather. Breathable material recommended. Please try to wear bright, tropical colors. Gentlemen: examples include vest, long sleeves, dress pants, khakis, or collared shirt. Shorts are allowed, but please no jeans. Ties and bowties are welcomed, but not required. Short sleeved collared shirts can also be worn. Please avoid wearing a royal blue suit (for the groom). Ladies: examples include nice sundresses, breathable business suits, dresses, sandals, or high heels. Please no flip flops for the ceremony, but they can be worn post ceremony if heels are uncomfortable. Please avoid wearing a predominantly white dress (for the bride). The wedding colors are coral and turquoise. Guests do not need to wear these colors, but are more than welcome to. Please try to wear something bright and colorful. See "Dress Code" section for examples.

Should I bring a gift to the destination wedding?

Answer

While a gift is not expected, if you decide to get one, please mail to the bride and groom prior to or after the wedding unless it’s a small item. This will help ensure we don’t damage the item and it can fit in our luggage.

Can more than 2 people stay in a room at the resort?

Answer

Yes, more than 2 people can stay in a room. However, for every additional person over the age of 18, the hotel charges an additional fee per night.

I’m not staying at the resort, how do I access the resort for the wedding?

Answer

If you are local to St. Lucia or decide to stay at a different hotel/resort, you will need a paid day pass to attend the wedding. The price is $89. More info to follow
