Our story began in Seattle of 2021. I moved to Seattle in July and Azeem moved shortly after in September. It was both of our first time moving out of state. I met Azeem through my roommate by going to the climbing gym to hang out within the first week of him moving there. She did warn me before hand that I would think Azeem was cute. We started to hang out as "friends" for a bit before everyone around us would laugh that we still just called ourselves friends or rather I called him "the boy". We spent the next year exploring the new state together full of new foods, city life, and climbing/backpacking. Before the year even ended, we planned our next adventure: traveling Asia together. It truly feels like God moved us both to Seattle to meet each other. It is a time of our lives we both hold very dear to ourselves as we spent that time getting to know the person we would eventually marry. Our short and sweet time in Seattle ended with us leaving to take on the rest of our adventures together. Since then, we spent 4 months traveling Asia before moving to Colorado, where we live now. Looking back on photos, is wild to us as somehow we have seen so much together. It is such an incredible thing to have a built in best friend to take on all of life's adventures with.
