IAH- George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Is a huge airport. Lots of traffic and but they have more flights and connections. HOU- William P Hobby Airport. Smaller airport. Domestic flights only. 7 miles from downtown. IAH- We refer to this airport as Bush typically. 22miles from the venue. Depending on traffic about 30 minutes. HOU- referred to as Hobby. 9miles away and about 22 minutes from the venue.

The wedding is on a Wednesday so if you want to come for the day you can fly in the morning of. Spirit and Frontier both have early morning flights that will have you in Houston by 10:30am for only $29. If you want to be back in Orlando for work Thursday you can also catch the 9pm flight and be home a little after midnight for only $29. Those two flights will run you $58. Bring a backpack for your change of clothes and travel sized toiletries. & the flight is only 2 hours 40 minutes. For the family who refuses to fly Spirit or Frontier round trip prices start at $180pp. Pro Trip: Use Google flights. Play with dates if you have wiggle room. Search round trip and one way so you can have more options for flight times. **Remember flight prices change. I would suggest flying in the day before on Tuesday. From Oakland or SFO United has some Nonstop round trip flights for $400+ American and Delta has some roundtrip flights for $340+ Southwest around $417 and I didn’t see any nonstop flights 🙄 SJC has the better prices but barely. They also have some cheap spirit options for less than $200 round trip. But involves you spending the day in Vegas. **Remember flight prices change. If you are coming from Sacramento I would suggest flying in on Tuesday. Southwest has plenty of options, maybe 1 or 2 flights that are nonstop for $383 + United has a nice nonstop round trip flight, 5:30am- 11:13am on Tuesday. And the return is Thursday 8pm-10:30pm for $365 Last resort, Here is a cheap option, not suitable for children. Spirit flight at 8pm on Tuesday , overnight layover in Vegas (7hrs), 5am leave Vegas and arrive in Houston at 10:05am on Wednesday. The returning flight is better but still a layover in Vegas but it’s $170 **Remember flight prices change. Did y’all know random people “crash” wedding receptions for fun? I thought that only happened in movies. So we won’t post our actual venue address online but we will send it to all of you closer to the date. It will be in the form of a text message from us. The approximate address is 2215 Hutchins ST. Houston , TX The approximate address is 0.4 miles away from the actual venue. Yes, the venue is in Third Ward. The gentrified area, but yes still the “hood”. We checked the reviews from the surrounding Airbnb locations and didn’t read anything negative so we feel comfortable.

Houston, TX 7703 For a booking from Tuesday- Thursday least expensive 1 bedroom I seen was $170 total with a split payment, remainder due April 14th. Least expensive I seen for a 3 bedroom Airbnb was $241. It also had a split payment due April 8th. So many options out there for those on a budget.
